For anyone who wants to say that, "This has nothing to do with skepticism," I think we all know damn well this thing will become a hive of misinformation.
The whole waitlist idea sounds like they wanted to create artificial scarcity to make people feel like they were part of the in-crowd. Unfortunately for Trump, it's yet another social media platform he's tried to launch that seems to have been coded by idiots.

I am launching a small fashion brand soon, and I feel like I am really struggling with planning out the social media and digital marketing strategies. For timeline, I'm hoping to start posting in early to mid-May to take custom order and establish brand reputation/identity, and launch a full collection later in the year. Right now, I'm only planning on being on Instagram and TikTok.
I was wondering if anyone had advice/tip/resources for how to go about launching on social media and how to gain a reputation? I feel like this is all very foreign to me and I have no idea how brands should grow following to seem more legitimate.

How do I launch a brand on social media?

I have just started a job at a digital marketing agency. And my first job is to launch a lifestyle brand on social media platforms. Now, this brand has little to no existence on the internet and they don’t have a compelling story to relate with the audience.
This is my first responsibility and I don’t want to fuck this up. Guys, please help me. Any tips would be appreciated.
Top Comment: You need a story. Now is the time to craft one. The brand is supplying something (A) to meet some needs (B) you/they have identified for some audiences (C). Start by defining A, B and C. Only then can you launch on social media.
